After admiring Florence’s iconic Duomo on a warm afternoon, our family was ready for a sweet refreshment to beat the heat—and gelato was the perfect choice. We headed to La Strega Nocciola Gelateria Artigianale, a charming artisanal shop established in 2004 and located just steps from the Duomo on Via Ricasoli. Known for its high-quality gelato made from fresh, natural ingredients like seasonal fruit and premium cocoa, the gelateria offers both traditional and innovative flavors, as well as lactose-free options.
The rich dark chocolate was the perfect treat for myself. My daughter enjoyded the milk chocolate from one of the shop’s few outdoor chairs, enjoying the view of the Duomo.
