- How It Works: To start, purchase the game booklet at the ship’s ticket desk for CHF 9. The materials and clues are fully bilingual in English and German.
- Recommended Age: Designed for children ages 6 to 11.
- Duration: It took us roughly an hour to track down every clue and solve the riddles.
- Difficulty: The puzzles strike a solid balance, ranging from observation challenges to trickier math problems and a QR code prompt. I stayed with my son to help read a couple of the prompts, and the crew members were warm and quick to nudge us in the right direction whenever we got turned around.
- Completion: Each solved puzzle reveals a letter. Once all nine letters are collected, they spell out a secret password. After completing the trail, my son showed the code word to a crew member, who unlocked the “witch’s cauldron.” He was thrilled to pick out his prize from a bin of bouncy balls, chalk, games, and bubbles.
