Freiruum Food Hall in Zug

Freiruum Food Hall in Zug has a fantastic market hall with a wide variety of food stands. This place has become a regular spot for us, especially when we need a quick and tasty bite or when the weather outside is less than inviting. Freiruum has the largest street food selection in the Zug area

With around 14 different food stands, there’s always something to please everyone’s taste buds. We’ve sampled our way through delicious pizzas, flavorful tacos, fresh sushi, and juicy chicken. But the real winner for my kids? The chicken nugget kids’ meal at the Chicken Club. The Food Hall makes it super convenient for families. There are plenty of tables inside, and during the warmer months, outdoor dining is also an option. Plus, they have baby chairs available and free water stations with glasses.

Attached to the Food Hall is a fantastic Sports Hall, making it easy to combine a meal with some active fun. Inside, you’ll find a soft play space perfect for toddlers, a trampoline park for bouncing off energy, and even a boulder area for those who like to climb. My kids get super excited every time we suggest a visit! For more information on the Sports Hall click here.

There are limited parking spaces in front of Freiruum, but there’s a large, uncovered pay parking lot across the street. Freiruum is a short walk from the Zug train station, making it easily accessible by public transport. Overall Freiruum is a fantastic option for family fun in Zug, especially when the weather isn’t ideal. With a wide range of activities and food options, it’s a place where everyone can find something to enjoy. We highly recommend it!
