Guide to Erlebnisberg Pradaschier: Things to Do in Lenzerheide with Kids

Erlebnisberg Pradaschier is a family-friendly alpine area in the Lenzerheide region of Canton Graubünden, Switzerland. If you are looking for outdoor things to do in Lenzerheide with kids, this mountain offers a variety of adventures, including an alpine coaster, playgrounds, and a ropes course. Plan to spend a half or full day here to experience all the attractions.

Base Station Activities

The attractions at the Churwalden base station are great for a variety of ages:

  • Marble Run (Free): Located in a shaded area near the base. Kids use hand cranks, foot pedals, and levers to guide marbles through a large metal maze.
  • Play Trains (Free): Next to the marble run, children can manually crank small trains along a track.
  • Jump Zone 7075 (Tickets Required): Located next to the chairlift, this paid attraction features trampolines and an airbag jump. It is best suited for older kids and teens.
Mountain Station Activities

Take the chairlift to the top station to access the main adventure attractions.

  • Switzerland’s Longest Alpine Coaster: The Pradaschier toboggan run is the highlight of the mountain. It is the longest alpine coaster in Switzerland, featuring 3 kilometers of track, a 480-meter vertical drop, and 31 bends. The start is located right next to the top chairlift station. An adult ticket costs 18 CHF one-way (summer 2026), excluding the chairlift ride. While it is a bit of a splurge, our family really enjoyed the thrill and the beautiful views.
  • Zipline and Ropes Course: The ropes course features various obstacle lines and is designed for children aged 10 and older. For a faster descent, the 1,739-meter zipline takes riders from the top station directly back down to the base station.

Money-Saving Tip: If you plan to do multiple rides or have a large group, ask for the Combo Ticket or the Family Ticket at the counter.

Dining at Bergrestaurant Pradaschier

You can pack a lunch to enjoy at the picnic tables just past the alpine coaster. There is a Migros supermarket (Migros-Supermarkt – Churwalden) close to the parking lot where you can easily grab picnic supplies.

Alternatively, you can eat at the Bergrestaurant Pradaschier at the top station, where our family enjoyed lunch:

  • Amenities: The restaurant has a sunny outdoor patio, kids’ menus, coloring pages, high chairs, and a baby changing table.
  • Food: Standard options include burgers, chicken nuggets, and local Swiss dishes.
  • Playground: A small play area with a slide and swing sits right next to the patio, making it easy to watch the kids play.
Arrival and Tickets

Parking: There is a large, paid outdoor parking lot next to the Churwalden base station and Restaurant Portal.

Tickets: You can buy passes at the ticket office next to the chairlift or purchase them online in advance.

Weather Check: We highly recommend checking the live mountain webcams before you arrive to verify current weather conditions and visibility.

Final Thoughts

Erlebnisberg Pradaschier perfectly balances high-thrill attractions like the alpine coaster and zipline with calm, free activities for toddlers. It is a highly recommended stop for family travel in Graubünden.
