One of the things I loved most about living in Texas was the amazing Tex-Mex food—an American twist on traditional Mexican favorites. Ana Mia’s Restaurant, one of our favorite Tex-Mex spots in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, never disappoints. On our recent visit to the Southlake location, we enjoyed their signature brisket tacos, flavorful ribeye fajitas, and creamy queso dip. For adults, their margaritas are a must-try—just be sure to check happy hour times for discounts.
Ana Mia’s is family-friendly and offers a dedicated kids’ menu. Our kids loved the cheesy quesadilla and the endless basket of warm chips. On special evenings, we like to treat ourselves to their fresh sopapillas drizzled with honey. Although reservations aren’t accepted, arriving early helps you snag a table and take advantage of happy hour. Free parking is available around the restaurant, making it an easy stop for families exploring Southlake or the greater DFW area.
