Exploring the Mani Peninsula with kids is easy along the Stoupa to Agios Nikolaos coastal path. This 3 km pedestrian-only trail offers a safe, flat route that’s perfect for a stroller-friendly walk or a family bike ride. Taking about 45 minutes one way, the path winds through scenic olive groves and along the rugged shoreline. Our children spent hours discovering tiny sea creatures in the various tide pools along the way. The mix of paved sections and firm dirt paths makes it accessible for all ages, but be mindful on hot summer days, as there is not much shade on the trail.
For families seeking the perfect base, Villa Chrysanthi is an excellent family-friendly accommodation with direct access to the path. The villa conveniently includes bicycles in the rental, allowing you to zip between the two villages with ease. While the private pool is a highlight, keep in mind that the surrounding tiles can be slick for little ones. We highly recommend catching the sunset from the upper balcony, where the sea views are truly breathtaking. This area remains one of our favorite spots for a relaxed family vacation in Greece—check out our blog for more local recommendations!
