Nestled on a shaded patio with beautiful views of Lake Maggiore, Vistaqua restaurant offers delicious Italian cuisine featuring crisp, wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta, and perfectly prepared seafood. We appreciated that the restaurant had a kids’ menu, and the kids enjoyed their margherita pizza and pasta. To finish the meal, we indulged in one of the best lemon sorbets we’ve ever tasted—tangy, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel right at home, and thoughtful touches like baby chairs and a changing table made dining with little ones a breeze. Although the access road is sometimes closed to car traffic, we found it open for lunch and easily found street parking nearby. The restaurant is within a 10-15 minutes drive to the towns of Baveno and Stresa which have ferry terminals that enable access Isola Madre and Isola Bella islands.
