Family Friendly Restaurant Agios Nikolaos: Voulimeneas Cafe

If you’re looking for a family-friendly restaurant in Agios Nikolaos, Voulimeneas Restaurant is a must-visit traditional Greek taverna overlooking Pantazi Beach. The shaded outdoor patio offers stunning sea views, making it perfect for a relaxed and scenic lunch in the Mani Peninsula. We  recommend calling ahead to reserve a table, as this spot is popular during the summer months. Our family enjoyed a delicious spread of tzatziki, fresh fish, calamari, and soutzoukakia (Greek meatballs in red sauce), while the kids were happy with pasta. The location is great for families, with baby chairs and a changing table available on-site.

After lunch, you can head down the staircase to Pantazi Beach, which has gentle waves and shallow water. Since it is a pebble beach and unorganized (no umbrella or chair rentals), be sure to pack water shoes and plenty of shade. For an extra dose of adventure, we arrived by kayak from our stay at Alassa Villas, which took us under an hour. For more family-friendly recommendations in the area, check out our blog.
