We had a fantastic family stay at Villa Vinory, a charming villa divided into four spacious apartments, each with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Perched on a hilltop, the villa offers stunning views of the surrounding vineyards, creating a serene and picturesque setting. There are many activities in the area, including wine tasting, truffle hunting, and exploring towns like Alba. After a day of exploring, it was lovely to come back and watch the sunset while relaxing in the pool.

Swimming Pool
One of our favorite features was the large shared pool, used by all four apartments. It was wonderfully refreshing after hot days, and the views from the pool area were simply amazing. There were also deck chairs with umbrellas and a large dining table in a shaded area for al fresco dining. It was the perfect spot for the kids to swim and for us to unwind.

Wine Cellars
The villa also has a shared wine cellar where guests can select from a variety of delicious local wines. We kept a tally of the wines we tried on a provided price sheet, making it easy and fun to sample different bottles right at the villa. This was a tasty and convenient treat.

Air Conditioning
Air conditioning is available throughout most of the villa, keeping the main bedrooms cool and comfortable. The third bedroom is in a loft space, which is a bit farther from the AC. This room was definitely warmer, but the owners provided fans that helped with the heat.

Activities in the Area
A car is essential for exploring the area, as the villa is about a 30-40 minute drive from the main wine tasting destinations. Our favorite wineries were Azienda Agricola Burzi Alberto and Josetta Saffirio Winery. The truffle hunting tour with Ël Valët Tartufaia was a bit closer, about a 20-minute drive. Private Chef Experience
A highlight of our stay was hiring a private chef recommended by the villa. It was our first time trying this, and it was worth every penny. While the kids enjoyed the pool, we savored a leisurely, delicious multi-course dinner – definitely the food highlight of our trip. We were also able to order specific meals for our picky little eaters, which our children really enjoyed. We highly recommend this experience if it fits your budget.

Overall, Villa Vinory offers a perfect blend of comfort, beautiful scenery, and authentic local experiences for families looking to enjoy the Piedmont wine region.
