Discovering Cherry Blossoms in Zurich: A Family Adventure
Spring has arrived, bringing with it the enchanting cherry blossoms. For families seeking to experience this natural beauty, Zurich offers numerous spots to enjoy these fleeting yet beautiful blooms.
This year, we visited Idaplatz, a charming spot in Wiedikon with blossoming cherry trees lining the streets in a quiet neighborhood. It was delightful to wander down the quiet streets, but be mindful of cars when walking with children.
A few years ago, we visited Rieterpark, Zurich’s largest park, which features magnolias and Japanese cherry blossoms. This is a more kid-friendly option, as children can run around in the lovely green park. The park also offers beautiful views of Lake Zurich and the mountains. The Museum Rietberg has a small café with tables where you can grab a snack after exploring.
