If you’re exploring the cobbled streets of Zug’s Old Town, make sure to visit Wunderbox, a lovely gift shop just steps away from the iconic Zytturm Clock Tower. Opened in 2010, Wunderbox is filled with unique gifts, souvenirs, and decorations for both children and adults. Many of the products come from local producers, making it a great place to find authentic Swiss-made items you won’t see anywhere else. Some of the fun treasures we discovered included engraved fondue forks featuring the Zytturm, colorful Swiss dish towels, greeting cards, and, in the downstairs section, a small toy area. I was thrilled to find a build-your-own Swiss cow—made from a set of bricks similar to Lego—for my son. It’s a great spot to pick up something thoughtful for family and friends.
Whether you’re browsing for a handcrafted souvenir, looking for a last-minute present, or simply enjoying the charm of Old Town Zug, Wunderbox is worth a visit.
