Schlaufensteg Tree Top Path

The Schlaufensteg treetop path is new in Baar, Switzerland. A local cardiologist came up with the idea to have something built with stairs to promote heart health. The community came together to build this structure with access free to the public.

The path consists of 265 steps with a height of 22 meters, The kids enjoyed climbing and running around the different platforms. There are no benches or access for strollers (stairs). The views from the platforms are beautiful especially with all the fall colors. There is no parking at the entrances, but there is parking along the road in the Höllgrotten forest. The adjacent forest has many easy hiking paths along the river which are family friendly.
