Strollers are welcome on board, and boarding is simple thanks to a ramp. However, note that access to the upper deck requires taking the stairs.

Although our five-year-old’s attention eventually wandered, it helped us all appreciate the sights in a new way. Onboard, you can enjoy light snacks and drinks from the bar. We treated ourselves to a glass of Prosecco while the kids munched on their favorite snacks.
Departure Point and Practical Tips
The Saphir cruise departs from Pier 7 at Schweizerhofquai, directly opposite the Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne. It’s an easy 10-minute walk from Lucerne’s main train station, making it convenient for visitors arriving by train. If you’re driving, parking is available at Parkhaus Schweizerhof. This cruise is operated by the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company (SGV) AG. Tickets can be booked online, and there are discounts for holders of the Swiss Travel Pass, Half-Fare Card, and Junior Cards.
