Ramseier Erlebniswelt

Exploring the Ramseier World (Erlebniswelt) in Oberkirch, Switzerland, was a delightful family adventure. Known for its iconic apple drinks, Ramseier has been a staple in Swiss culture since 1910. To learn more about this iconic brand, visit the museum with interactive exhibits and tasting stations.

The museum offers a kid-friendly interactive experience with touch screens, puzzles, and a movie theater, all in German or French, but easily translated with a smartphone. My three-year-old loved the playful apple-themed exhibits. We discovered that Swiss people consume more apples than chocolate annually! We also learned about the many different kinds of apples in Switzerland, and how apples are used to create Ramseier’s many different beverages. I personally enjoyed tasting the new berry flavored apfelschorle. The museum isn’t large but is packed with engaging activities for kids and took us about an hour to enjoy. Remember, no strollers or backpacks are allowed inside, but free lockers are available.

The on-site café serves a variety of Ramseier beverages and delicious treats like apple strudel and cinnamon rolls. Located just a 30-minute drive from Lucerne, the museum offers free parking and is conveniently near a train station. It’s a fun and educational family outing!
