The Lindt Home of Chocolate offers a magical Christmas Special chocolate course that teaches visitors chocolatier skills. This 90-minute workshop is a dream come true for chocolate lovers and festive enthusiasts alike. I have a serious love of chocolate so this was a check off my bucket list.

Tickets are available for purchase online, with weekend courses selling out quickly. The course runs for 90 minutes and is offered in both English and German. Children aged 5-12 must attend with an adult, and both child and adult require a ticket.

The course is located on the second floor, featuring a convenient locker area. Participants are provided with white chef coats and hats, with only phones permitted in the classroom. Upon arrival, guests change into their chef attire and wash their hands before entering the workshop.

Participants learn to craft a chocolate Santa or Bear and chocolate pralines. The experienced instructors guide guests through detailed chocolate decoration and filling techniques, ensuring an immersive hands-on learning experience. The entire process requires patience and time so keep that in mind if you bring kids. For this course, I did not bring my kids as I wanted to test it out first. If I would do it again, I would only bring my older son. The final creations are beautifully packaged in a cute Santa hat, making for a memorable souvenir.

A paid parking garage is located underneath the Lindt Home of Chocolate, with direct interior access. The location is also conveniently accessible by public transit. Additionally, guests can visit the onsite café or eat unlimited chocolate on a chocolate tour. This course was a bucket list experience that exceeded my expectations. The detailed techniques, professional instruction, and hands-on learning make it a must-do activity for chocolate enthusiasts. From donning the chef’s coat to creating intricate chocolate designs, every moment is filled with creativity and the sweet aroma of chocolate.
