For our recent family trip to the region of Gruyère, we chose to stay at the Hotel D Bulle, a delightful family-friendly hotel conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from both the Cailler Chocolate Factory and the picturesque town of Gruyères.
Upon arrival, we were pleased to find that our spacious room was equipped with a fold-out sofa bed and a baby cot, making it perfect for our family. A thoughtful touch awaited the kids on the table: two coloring books, which my son brought everywhere on our trip.
The hotel also features underground parking with elevator access directly to the rooms, a blessing considering it was raining. The hotel’s strategic location on the train line offers easy access to public transportation. Additionally, numerous shops nearby made it convenient for any last-minute necessities. While we opted to skip the buffet breakfast—excited about our tickets to the chocolate factory—the friendly staff ensured we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay.
