The Honold’s Chocolate Tram is a delightful seasonal experience that transforms a vintage tram into a mobile chocolate paradise through Zurich’s charming streets. Running for just two weeks in November, this unique attraction offers a festive culinary adventure that has become a family tradition.
Guests board the nostalgic tram at Bellevueplatz, easily accessible by public transit or nearby parking garages. The tram features carefully arranged tables for 2 and 4 people. The attendants will guide you to an assigned table based on your party size. The tables have been updated to include holders for hot chocolate, water, chocolates, etc. that helps manage potential spills. Upon arrival, passengers are treated to a warm welcome with hot chocolate and a selection of exquisite chocolates. Included in your visit is a box of 4 pralines to taste, a signature “Pain de Gênes” almond cake, and additional chocolate pralines to taste. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes as the tram travels around Zurich. Make sure to book tickets quickly as they sell out quickly.
