Each morning, we enjoyed the convenient bread service, choosing from a tempting selection of muffins, croissants, and pretzels. The location couldn’t be better. Within walking distance, you’ll find a wide range of restaurants (our favorite is Sapori), shops, and attractions like the Harder Kulm funicular. Its position between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz makes it perfect for day trips to St. Beatus Caves, Giessbach Falls, Blausee, Aareschlucht, and the charming towns of Thun and Brienz. If your plans include alpine adventures to Schilthorn or Jungfraujoch, Interlaken is a great hub. However, if your itinerary is mountain-heavy, consider staying in Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, or Mürren for closer access to the peaks.
