When we visit Old Town Zug, we enjoy grabbing creamy and delicious gelato at Lucy Goose Ice Creamery, a charming shop right by the lake. Although the shop itself has no seating, it’s perfectly located near beautiful Lake Zug, with many park benches to take in the views. Just steps away, our kids always love visiting the “Ornithologischer Verein der Stadt Zug,” a free aviary featuring colorful birds, including stunning white owls. Conveniently, there is parking nearby at Parkhaus Postplatz, and the old town is easily accessible by public transit, making Lucy Goose a great stop for families exploring Zug.
