We have visited Restaurant Ammos in Lucerne multiple times, a wonderful spot recommended by our Greek friends living in Switzerland. After living in Greece for five years, we missed Greek cuisine upon moving to Switzerland. This charming restaurant offers generous portions of meze, grilled meats, and classic dishes like moussaka, all served in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Some of our favorite dishes include Bifteki, Tyrokafteri, Feta se Filo, Keftedàkia Polìtika, and Dolmadàkia. There is even a children’s menu. The restaurant is conveniently located by the Reuss River and the Needle Dam, just a 10-minute walk from the main train station. Whether dining inside or enjoying the lovely riverside seating, Ammos consistently delivers a delicious Mediterranean dining experience that we highly recommend to families visiting Lucerne.
