Myself and my husband are Americans who both share a love of traveling and adventure. So when my husband was offered a job in Greece, off we went, me waddling along at eight months pregnant, ready to embrace whatever new adventures awaited us. 

I left my job as a scientist and traded in my lab goggles for baby wipes and my test tubes for travel itineraries! In my first year living abroad, we had 30 groups of family and friends who visited us, and I was in charge of planning the itineraries. It was challenging at first, and it was a big learning curve. Armed with my trusty Excel spreadsheets and an insatiable love for exploration, I continued to develop my skills to plan and execute fun adventures.

After welcoming our second little one in 2022, we packed our bags and moved to the stunning landscapes of Switzerland, where we currently call home. My faithful excel spreadsheets were difficult to share with friends and family who wanted advice so the LilKidsBigWorld Instagram was born. Fast forward to 2022, we decided to now have everything organized on our new blog. We are excited to share our travel tips and adventures with you all!
