Griechische Taverne, at Seefeldstrasse 167, offers a delightful escape to the flavors of Greece in Zurich. The menu boasts an array of traditional Greek dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and a touch of Mediterranean flair. We have definitely been missing Greek food since we moved from Athens to Switzerland in 2022. We enjoyed the tzatziki, gyros platter, and my husband’s favorite dolmadakia. My daughter enjoyed the fries as always. There are a few stairs to enter the restaurant, but I was able to carry the stroller up and store it in the front cloak area. The restaurant had a baby chair for my daughter. The restaurant is close to the Chinagarten and Zurichorn Park on Lake Zurich, and entrance is free to both parks. Whether you’re seeking a casual lunch or a cozy dinner, Griechische Taverne provides a perfect setting for savoring Greek cuisine in the heart of Switzerland.
